How do you fix this? After using tinfoil for years. I've found it much easier to use Awoo installer on switch. Run NS-USBLoader on your PC/MAC and use ethernet/WIFI to upload your games. Awoo has an option to update your sigpatches in the GUI. Also Awoo doesn't shove political messages down your throat unlike tinfoil.
